Here in IT paradise
I’ve been pretty busy here in the Isle of Man getting out and meeting people in the IT sector. Part of this includes getting to know the Island’s bloggers too. I’ve recently hooked up with the authors of a couple of tech blogs. One is Owen Cutajar who blogs at the Ugh!!’s Greymatter Honeypot. In today’s post he mentions that South Korea has chosen the Isle of Man ebusiness industry as a case study upon which to model itself. Apparently they think of the Isle of Man as an “IT paradise created on a tourist island”. I hope they are right.
I’ve also recently met up with Rob Mercer of kdrebusiness. Rob has volunteered to be my first every Guest Blogger which we’ll be posting soon. He’s going to so a review of WordPress, the blogging platform that I use, to give non-techies an idea of what’s involved in getting a blog going. Watch this space…
