May 19th: This week’s top 5

There’s been some really funny blog posts along with thoughtful ones this week.  Here’s what I’ve been reading:

1.  Kami is talking about how the IT profession feels it gets no respect.  Just last night I was drafted into the British Computer Society’s Isle of Man Section committee to help out, so her timing is pretty good for me.

2.  Chris Edwards takes a humorous look at strap lines and slogans.  ‘The Power of We’, indeed.  Too funny.

3.  To all my doggie bloggers, be sure to check out Media Orchard’s explanation of why Peeing is MySpace for Dogs.

4.   Rubel preaches to the converted with The Magic “T” of Marketing.

5.  Performancing points out a cool tool to track your blog commenting activity.  I’m trying it out and will let Strivers know if it proves useful.

Honourable mention…A certain PR troll spat its dummy because the cool kids won’t sit with it on the bus.  Yuk Yuk!

Now Strivers…what have you all been reading?

  1. Cool kids? Please. Losers more like it.

PS Weak groups always characterize “the disruptor” as a “troll.” Fine enough.

  2. You see what I mean? All the toys out of the pram!
