I just wanted to send all you Strivers my best wishes for this long weekend. (Except the Canadians who will be toiling today, but had last Monday off instead).  Make the time to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs though.  Go Oilers Go!

Here in Britain the DIY stores and garden centres will do booming business as we struggle to complete those projects we started on our last Bank Holiday (May Day) earlier this month.

In the Isle of Man, we are welcoming more than 40,000 motorcycle racing enthusiasts to our shores for the Isle of Man TT Festival 2006 (hope the weather improves!).

In the US, Strivers are taking a well-deserved day off in rememberance.  I really do hope you guys are not sitting at your desks today.  You work hard.  Your hours are way too long. You don’t get nearly enough vacation. I hope you are all sitting by the lake or gathering around the backyard barbeque and relaxing with friends.  You deserve it.
