Cadbury’s will bury 250 tons of chocolate
This story was reported in The Mail on Sunday yesterday. You may have heard that Cadbury was recalling a bunch of chocolate supposedly contaminated with salmonella. When I first heard about this, the story was that the recall was a precautionary measure. Now I read that the Food Standards Agency ordered the recall and there is a real health risk. Yikes.
Last week, I had thought that Cadbury got their messaging right…putting the situation in perspective and explaining the how minimal the real risk to health was. Now the Mail reports that 53 people did fall ill from eating the candy, many of them children. Yikes again.
But with the announcement that the recalled chocolate will be buried, will we see thousands of chocoholics on the biggest scavenger hunt ever? I’d love to see coverage of that!

Cadbury’s did have worms in chocolate way back in 1991 when a lot of chocolate s I used to buy had this, then I was under the mpression that it may be the retailer who is not storing it properly.
