BBC improves Isle of Man coverage

The BBC is hiring two broadcast journalists to cover the Isle of Man. They will work from the offices of Manx Radio, but will be employed directly by the BBC. They will generate stories for TV, radio and the BBC website.
This is great news for the Isle of Man, and many say, about time too. The BBC has been critisized in the past for its scant coverage of the Island. With these new positions, the trend is sure to change. Hopefully, the Isle of Man economy and business community will a strong focus for these new reporters.
