If you don’t ask, you don’t get…

Some folks might have been put off by Blogger Scott Baradell’s plea for readers to list his blog Media Orchard on their Technorati Favourites. Certainly some of the commenters on the post seem to indicate he’s a bit sad to be “pandering for links”.
I read the post and immediately added him to my faves. Why not? I read Media Orchard most days, and so it deserves to be bookmarked. I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner. It was simply an oversight.
And, if my bookmarking the blog puts it into the Technorati 100, that’s neither here nor there. Where your blog is ranked is not important; blogging is all about pleasing your readers. Do that and the rankings will follow.

Enjoy Media Orchard immensely, like Scott a lot, don’t give a tinker’s dam if he, or anyone else asks for links. I don’t play the Technorati list game, full stop. That shouldn’t really surprise anyone, should it?
