I had just thought that I must be pretty excellent at it, since my hit rate is pretty good. Knowing the bar is set so low, doesn't fill me with pride for my profession. Yes, I agree it is indeed very "pitching 101" but OMG, PR firms are for the most part clueless when it comes to applying those basic principles to pitching bloggers.
