October 27th: this week’s top 5

It’s probably obvious to anyone who reads Strive Notes regularly that posting has been irregular recently.  I’ve been on the road for the best part of 10 days and blogging only intermittantly.  Now I’m back at my desk, and things will return to normal.  I haven’t been reading my fave bloggers all that regularly while travelling, but I have managed to compile a top 5 for this week.  Here they are, in no particular order: Five

1. Leo Bottary caught my attention with two sequential posts.  The first entitled Indifference, was completely blank. I thought perhaps this prolific blogger had finally run out of juice.  Then I read Indifference 2 which focuses on dynamic teamwork. Clever.

2. Seth Godin is always a good read.  In this post he talks about the oldest remaining copywriting tip.

3. Walmartgate continues to stir the blogosphere. Theresa Valdez Klein nicely sums up the outcomes of the scandal.

4.  Media Orchard, once again, highlights the importance of media training with a few video clips of Mike Tyson interviews. What a jerk! (swearing)

5. Rohit Bhargava has listed five guidelines to avoid the dark side of social media. Summary…have integrity.

That’s it for this week. What have all you Strivers been reading?

  1. Indifference the blank page has been viewed more times than Indifference with words. Nice, huh? I should try it more often.
