Strive Notes

I was at a dinner the other night and met a charming fellow who holds a very senior position in an IT services company.  I was chatting away, as you do, about the work we’ve been doing over the past couple of weeks and the clients we’ve been working with.  Then he said, “You have the most amazing job. I’d kill to have a job like yours.”

For a second I was taken aback. Here was a successful IT professional who not only respects what those of us in the communications profession do, but actually envies us. 

I learned a few years ago, from Lou Tice, that we should bask in our success like a pig wallows in sh!t. These are moments worth hanging on to.
