I’m delighted to announce that due to our success in winning a bunch of new clients, Strive’s Isle of Man office is expanding.  We are looking for two communications professionals to join our team to serve both Manx and UK-based clients. Here’s what we’re looking for:

Senior Consultant

With at least five years’ experience and a degree or diploma in marketing, communications or journalism, the successful applicant will be in the front line of delivering client programmes.  This person must be an excellent writer, a skilled multitasker requiring little supervision and a slave to deadlines.  A good understanding of how to use Internet applications and of online social media would be an asset as would the ability to take shorthand.  This three-month contract could be extended or made permanent for the right candidate.

Account Assistant 

This part-time (20hour/week), permanent role would best be filled by a media junkie with an A Level in English or business.  With a wonderful opportunity to start a career in the media industry, our successful candidate will play a vital role by working closely with senior consultants in providing services to clients. This person must be energetic, organised and be ‘good with people’.  Duties will include research, writing, planning and providing administrative support.  A good knowledge of MS Office and Internet applications is a must.
