Anne Zelenka at Web Worker Daily has posted a good assessment of what makes virtual teams successful. Strive PR practices most of these habits, but we could do with getting more face time. What do you Strivers think about sharing calendars? Let me know.

A recent Nielsen/NetRatings poll suggests the 21st Century consumer is at risk of being overwhelmed by new digital technology. With the current rate of technological change, and the associated acronyms, there is a lot of confusion among consumers, the survey revealed.
The study found that in the relentless quest for ‘the next big thing’ in new [...]

So I thought I’d help [...]

Following on from my post last week about common reading habits, here are some more hints to fight ‘Reader ADD’, especially when detailed explanation is required.
Keep all paragraphs as short as possible. Develop a new paragraph about every five lines of type.
Use bold sub-heads every few paragraphs. Think of them as graphical devices as [...]

When I started writing the weekly Tech Talk column in the Isle of Man Examiner it was my intention to post the articles online once they had been published. But, so far, I’ve been a bit remiss in actually getting them online. So starting today, I’ll be putting them up, a couple each week, [...]

If you want to be an effective writer, you must understand how people read. Most people don’t read every word put in front of their eyes. The majority of people (and I’m a typical case study) read copy in three distinct stages.
