FT goes mobile

The Financial Times continues to the lead the industry in digitial publishing by offering a new service to mobile phones. The Press Gazette has a story on the new mobile reader that is available globally and is compatible with most handsets including BlackBerry, Nokia and Sony Ericsson. The cool thing is that the user will be served content based on past viewing habits so you can get the news you want quickly and easily.

I would say the BBC and Guardian are ahead of the FT in terms of digital publishing. Both have had a mobile website for quite some time now. The Beeb’s is very comprehensive: News (local, national and international), sport, weather, TV listings, entertainment, video etc.
Not to mention they both have podcasts and blogs.
I agree with you Stephen. I a v big fan of the BBC’s digital stuff.
