I don’t think so. Well, you wouldn’t suspect as much anyway from the huge success of the ICEi show at Earl’s Court that is finishing up today. The International Casino Exhibition’s egaming section was a hive of activity with hundreds of companies from around the world taking part. I was there for a day earlier this week with Netcetera, the web hosting company. We spent a full day briefing various reporters and industry analysts about the new £10m datacentre in the Isle of Man, probably the biggest facility of its type anywhere offshore. We announced a couple of new egaming clients and launched a whitepaper that explains how and why egaming companies should host in the Isle of Man.

So despite the setbacks of the US legislation and the challenges our colleagues at NETeller are currently facing…it seems to me that the online gambling industry is alive and well.
