Yes? Then Strive Public Relations may be the place for you. We’re looking to build our Isle of Man team to deliver inspired communications programmes to both Manx and UK-based clients. We are looking for at least two Media Mavens and two Mavens In Waiting.

We’re virtual and that means flexible. So if you are a working parent, a student or have other constraints on your time, Strive just might have the right opportunity for you. Here’s an idea of who we are looking for, but like I said, we’re flexible.

Media Maven

With three years’ media experience and a degree or diploma in marketing, media or business, Strive’s Media Mavens will focus on delivering client programmes. You are an excellent writer, a skilled multitasker and a slave to deadlines. You have a good understanding of how to use Internet applications and interactive social media, but are probably not a true geek. You love chatting on the phone and get a buzz out of making people happy.

Maven In Waiting

You’re a media junkie with an A Level in English or business. You dream of one day running your own media empire, but want to get some experience first. Our Maven In Waitings will play a vital role by working closely with senior consultants in providing excellent services to clients . You are energetic, organised and are ‘good with people’. You’ll be involved in research, writing, planning and admin. You already have a good knowledge of MS Office and Internet applications; but you are looking for a chance to use it.
