Overcoming technology troubles
This week I would like to start of by thanking those of you who left encouraging messages about my last post. I have taken on board all of your comments and advice and hopefully they will help me improve. I am extremely grateful you took the time and effort to read what I had written and hope you will continue to give me your advice in the future.
One thing I have definitely learned this week is that technology is a brilliant thing. It helps make life so much easier and gets work done so much quicker…if you know how to use it that is!
I have been getting to grips with various different elements of computer software this week, and it’s fair to say that while trying to make my life easier, I actually ended up taking one step forward and two steps back.
I struggled a bit but after many hours of reading, trial and error and lots of chopping and changing, I eventually figured it out. So now I have mastered a new skill.
The final thing that I wanted to talk about really is my writing. I feel it’s coming along and I can see a definite improvement from day one to now. There is still a long way to go, but I feel I am developing strengths, my email pitches that Sherrilynne mentioned for example. They are what I have done the most of so far and so I have improved with practice, the rest I believe will follow with the same amount practice dedicated to them.
As Stephen Davies commented on my last post “try not to know your limitations”. I am willing to keep trying at anything thrown at me and hopefully the positive results will follow.
