Facebook as a sausage-on-a-stick?
Facebook has fast become a day-to-day work tool for me since joining Strive PR. Whilst many companies may be blocking it or fawning about its use within their workplace, I am becoming increasingly aware of its networking prowess in negating the need to spend time hovering over a sausage-on-a-stick at lengthy networking buffets.
Don’t get me wrong. I am still partial to a glass of something away from the office of a lunch time….occasionally. But with so few hours in the day, and even less of those in day light as we approach winter, Facebook really does give the window of opportunity to share a few words, a joke or partake in some TV trivia with colleagues around the globe. At Strive PR we are now applying our passion to Facebook and are creating groups on behalf of clients….. giving just a little more opportunity to have quick peek at others’ Facebook photos.
