Strive Notes

Mark Hodson, travel writer for the The Times, has posted a list of top 10 tips for travel journalists. Most of them apply to all journalists, actually.
I particularly like his number one tip…don’t be afraid to tell us no. I’m almost as happy to get a no as a yes (well, maybe this is a slight exaggeration). But really, JUST SAY NO, if you are not interested. We’ll cross you off our ‘to do’ list and move on. We don’t take it personally; it’s just part of the job.
