I’m a big fan of For Immediate Release, the twice-weekly podcast by Neville Hobson and Shel Holtz. I find listening to their informative show to be very effective in getting through my treadmill sessions. I just tune in and start running, and before I know it, I’ve burned a lot of calories…and usually have learned a lot.

On Monday’s show, Shel and Neville have a long and indepth conversation about crisis communications, which I found interesting. They cover the anatomy of a crisis and the classic steps of crisis management and go through many examples.

With the ramifications of the global credit crunch trickling down throughout the finance industry, people in this sector, including those in the Isle of Man should tune in, just as a refresher.
