PR top 5 June 22
It’s been a busy week, but I’ve managed to check out most of my fave blogs this week. Here are the posts Iiked the best.
1. On Pro Blogger, Darren Rowse explains why PR people are starting to contact bloggers in droves and how to handle them in Understanding PR people for fun and profit. Good advice!
2. Robert Geller predicts the death of online media databases as services like LinkedIn and Facebook with Flack’s Revenge: PR death watch continues. He just might have a point.
3. Shel Holtz has a right rant about the 9-5 mentality in the always on world. I couldn’t agree more.
4. The Bad Pitch Blog gives us a good example of how Twitter can help us in our jobs. Clever.
5. The Smooth Group tells the story of a recruiter who was ordered to hand over his LinkedIn contacts in a dispute over poaching candidates. It begs the question, “Who really owns this data?”
