ThirdThursday meet up

Today was the inaugural ThirdThursday meeting of the Isle of Man Social Media Club.  A small, but enthusiastic group of bloggers and people interested in social networks came out to Paparazzi in Douglas.  The idea of today’s lunch was to get a feel for how much interest there is in the subject.  Discussion ranged from tools to trends to how social media is affecting corporates.

We decided to do this again, ThirdThursday in August, that’s the 21st. Same place. Same time.  We are going to keep it very social. Have a bit of lunch and see if we can get a special guest, someone knowledgable about corporate blogging (TBD), to come along and share insights.
