July’s fave five

Each month I do a roundup of the most popular Strive Notes posts.  This month I took a different approach. Instead of looking at traffic to the site, I looked at unique visitors that clicked through to posts.  It certainly shows an entirely different picture to the other method and demonstrates the ‘long tail’ of the Internet.  So here are the most visited stories for July 2008:

5. How to behave in a client meeting was first posted in January but saw a boost in popularity recently.  Could it be that new grads are trying to settle in?

4. Actually posted last month, Effect v Affect continues to draw readers.

3. This post from March about social networks going mobile was ’stumbled upon’ last week which pushed it into the top 3 for July.

2. An NASA  astronaut visited the Isle of Man last December and I blogged about it. This post recently got ’stumbled upon’ and caught a lot of interest.

And finally, the single most visited Strive Notes post for July 2008 was…

1. How big is your digital footprint?, a Tech Talk column published in January which has always attracted a steady stream of readers.  It seems set to continue.
