Dec 7: PR top 5

Here are my picks for the week. Some really great stuff!
1. Michael Arrington takes author Michael Wolff to task over an interview published in BusinessWeek in which Wolff is quoted as saying, “…if you’re on MySpace now, you’re a [expletive] cretin. And you’re not only a [expletive] cretin, but you’re poor. Nobody who has beyond an 8th grade level of education is on MySpace. It is for backwards people.” Some people don’t seem to let the facts get in the way of their opinions.
2. Another killer blog post on how to create killer blog content from Chris Brogan.
3. This young blogger lays it all on the line by posting his own personal social media policy. Tranparency! Excellent.
4. Jeremiah Owyang has broken down social media blacklashes into five categories. This will be useful in client discussions.
5. On BankerVision, blogger James Gardiner explains why banks don’t do social media. I find his view interesting indeed, especially since we are about to launch a blog for an offshore bank. (Thanks to FIR for pointing out BankerVision).
