2008’s top ten Strive Notes
Ok, end of year. That means it’s time for a little navel gazing. Here’s a list of the top ten Strive Notes for 2008.
1. Well a head of the pack was this post called How big is your digital footprint?
2. This one is actually from last year, but people love it and keep coming. It’s called The four-step PR process.
3. Another one from last year goes to show that ‘how to’ posts continue to be popular. Here are Top 7 leads to hook readers.
4. The spelling and use of affect and effect continue to puzzle people. Their searches keep bringing them to Strive Notes.
5. Incoming news release, via pigeon, is a look at news snippets and New Year resolutions from January 2008.
6. This post looks at using content management Wordpress as platform for websites.
7. New to agency life and want to know how to behave in a client meeting? Check this post out.
8. Originally posted in late 2007, this post on recession lessons for PRs grew more popular and the downturn of 2008 grew deeper.
9. This post highlighting dos and don’ts of media interviews squeaks into the top ten.
10. The last one is a post about how social networks are going mobile, making themselves accessible via the handheld. *
*This one is actually a fudge because I had to eliminate a post where I called out a minor celebrity for questionable behaviour. I removed the post w/i 24 hours at the request of friend for whom it caused some controversy. Even with its very short shelf-life, it would have made the top ten.Filed under: public relations
